What's New and Exciting?
Dogfish Head – Tweason’ale
http://www.dogfish.com
6% ABV – Gluten Free Fruit Ale
The No. 1 thing Dogfish lovers ask for at our pub, in our brewery and on our website is a gluten-free beer. But not just any gluten-free beer -- they want gluten-free with gusto.
"It seems as if lots of folks who have gluten-tolerance issues are pining for an interesting beer," says Dogfish founder and President Sam Calagione. "While there are a few well-made examples that mirror traditional beer styles, there arent any off-centered offerings."
Enter Tweason'ale.
For our first new 12-ounce 4-packs in nearly half a decade, we replaced the classic barley foundation of beer with a mild sorghum base. The hints of molasses and pit-fruit are balanced by vibrant strawberry notes and a unique complexity that comes with the addition of a malty buckwheat honey.
We believe health-conscious beer drinkers and the millions of Americans who suffer from Celiac disease can cut back on gluten while relishing the distinction and drinkability of this very special brew.
Sierra Nevada – Ruthless Rye

6.6% ABV – Rye IPA
Rye has been a staple grain for millennia—sought after for its stubborn resilience in the field and revered for its unique flavor. Ruthless Rye IPA is brewed with rustic grains for refined flavors—combining the peppery spice of rye and the bright citrusy flavors of whole-cone hops to create a complex ale for the tumultuous transition to spring.
Flying Dog – Kujo

8.9% ABV – Imperial Coffee Stout
Kujo is the savage spawn of two brewing worlds – coffee and beer – colliding. But in that collision, there’s a balance between rich and roasted stout characteristics and the deep, dark coffee notes. The result is an 8.9% ABV brew made with locally-roasted coffee from Black Dog Coffee out of Summit Point, West Virginia.
Sam Adams – Alpine Spring Lager
www.samueladams.com
5.5% ABV – Zwickel Bier
Brewed especially for the season, this bright citrusy unfiltered lager is both satisfying and refreshing. It’s the perfect transition from winter’s heavier brews to the lighter beers of summer. Borne of our brewers’ many trips to Germany, Alpine Spring features a unique blend of lager attributes: the balanced maltiness and hoppiness of a Helles, the smoothness and slightly higher alcohol of a traditional spring bock, and the unfiltered appearance of a Kellerbier. The beer is brewed with Tettnang Noble hops to add a unique, bright orange-citrusy aroma and flavor.
Bells – Hopslam
www.bellsbeer.com
10% ABV – Double IPA
Starting with six different hop varietals added to the brew kettle & culminating with a massive dry-hop addition of Simcoe hops, Bell's Hopslam Ale possesses the most complex hopping schedule in the Bell's repertoire. Selected specifically because of their aromatic qualities, these Pacific Northwest varieties contribute a pungent blend of grapefruit, stone fruit, and floral notes. A generous malt bill and a solid dollop of honey provide just enough body to keep the balance in check, resulting in a remarkably drinkable rendition of the Double India Pale Ale style.
Weyerbacher – Fireside Ale
www.weyerbacher.com
7.5% ABV – Smoked Beer
This fantastic brew began its life as “Charlie”, the third installment of the Brewer’s Select Series. It is now part of our seasonal lineup and will be released in the month of January.
It is an intricate dark ale with a touch of smokiness. The rich malt flavor, crisp bitterness and smoke reach perfect equilibrium in this brew.
At 7.5% ABV, Fireside Ale will warm you up as the temperature drops.
Rogue – Chocolate Stout

The recipe for Rogue Chocolate Stout was created several years ago for export to Japan. The exported twelve ounce Chocolate Bear Beer bottle label is in Kanji and features a teddy bear with a pink heart on his belly.
